Tori Kelly – Should’ve Been Us (ft. Jeremih) [Remix]
Former American Idol contestant Tori Kelly continues to promote her single “Should’ve Been Us” with a remix courtesy of Jeremih.
Tori Kelly proved she’s a force to be reckoned with after her explosive performance of “Should’ve Been Us” at the VMAs, cementing her place as a credible pop star with powerful vocals, now Tori has enlisted R&B crooner Jeremih for a verse on the remix of the new single which recieved its first play on Mistajam’s BBC Radio 1 Xtra show earlier this month.
“Should’ve Been Us” is a ’90s-R&B-influenced breakup song where Tori laments what it could’ve been like with her ex-lover. The Struts and Oscar Holter handle the bustling production on the track which creates a gorgeous soundscape for the 22-year old to display her dynamic vocals and Jeremih handles himself nicely on his own verse.
The song serves as the second single from her debut album “Unbreakable Smile” which was released in June via Capitol Records with appearances from Ed Sheeran and LL Cool J. Listen to the remix below along with her VMA performance:
