Lana Del Rey – Music To Watch Boys To (Video)
Lana Del Rey premieres the dreamy visual to the “Honeymoon” album cut “Music To Watch Boys To”.
Lana does what Lana does best in her atmospheric new clip. The singer is found glamorously lounging, putting on her flowery headphones to listen to some music whilst she watches the boys play basketball and skateboard. The black and white video also has stylish shots of Lana looking as brooding as ever interspersed throughout with some splash of colour from a dip in the ocean.
When the singer premiered the tune, which she co-wrote with “Summertime Sadness” collaborator Rick Boyles, she called it one of her favorites on the LP, its easy to see why now as the growing track has come to be one of the standouts on her new album. In an interview with Los Angeles Times, she explained the dreary track, “The title lends itself to a visual of shadows of men passing by, this girl’s eyes, her face,” Del Rey said. “I can definitely see things.”
Lana Del Rey’s new album “Honeymoon” debuted at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart. Elsewhere, with 116,000 units shifted (105,000 in pure album sales), “Honeymoon” debuted also at number 2 on the US Billboard 200. It’s the fourth top 10 album for Del Rey, and follows her chart-topping “Ultraviolence” in 2014. The latter set opened with 182,000 sold in its first week.
