Lana Del Rey – Honeymoon (Album Sampler)

With Honeymoon just around the corner, Lana Del Rey shares snippets of new songs.

Get ready for one hell of a Honeymoon with the impending release of Lana Del Rey’s new album due for release in a few weeks on the 18th September. Today, she has shared the album sampler, don’t get too excited though, it’s not the full album but you do get a sneak peak of the previously unheard “Freak” and “Music to Watch Boys To”, as well as “High by the Beach” and “Terrence Loves You”.

“Music to Watch Boys To” is a dreamy ballad drenched in reverb and “Freak” is an interesting one that starts of slow but erupts into a talk-style singing (ala “Brooklyn Baby) with middle eastern tinged instrumentation. Although hardly long enough to give a full opinion, the snippets do give an insight into what’s to come when “Honeymoon” is released and are backed by some standard Lana Del Rey grainy visuals.

“Honeymoon” is due out September 18th and the singer has also revealed that the record’s title track (single artwork up top) is now available to buy on iTunes. Listen to the album sampler below:
