Jay Rock – Vice City (ft. Black Hippy) [Video] + “90059” Stream

Jay Rock’s new album “90059” has just been released plus he drops a visual for the cut “Vice City”.

The Californian rapper was finally able to release his sophomore album “90059” after months of anticipation and postponed release dates. “Feel like this is my moment, feel like it’s time for a change,” is a fitting lyric for the this date. Notable appearances come from Busta Rhymes, SZA, Isaiah Rashad and Jay Rock enlists the other members of the supergroup Black Hippy for “Vice City” and an accompanying video has been dropped to promote his new LP.

Black Hippy, consisting of West Coast rappers Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q, unite on the Cardo-produced album cut “Vice City”. The simple trap production provides a clean canvas giving each rapper a chance to shine and boy do they go in. They all adopt an eccentric rapping style with a stumbling flow towards the end of their sentences and special mention goes to Q who spits fire.

The accompanying black and white clip is fairly sinister with its flickering lights and dingy basement setting but is offset with appearances from booty shaking ladies.
