Fleur East – Breakfast
UK X Factor runner-up Fleur East serves fans up ‘Breakfast’, a taste of what they can expect from her upcoming album ‘Love, Sax And Flashbacks’.
Whilst Fleur’s debut single ‘Sax’ continues to put up a fight on the UK charts, standing strong behind the unstoppable Adele and Bieber, she drops the track ‘Breakfast’ which was released as a countdown single alongside the pre-order of the album yesterday.
Her latest offering was co-written by Iain James and Julian Bunetta, who have previously penned tracks for the likes of One Direction, Little Mix, Emeli Sandé and Chris Brown. ‘Breakfast’ is a far more subdued affair than the former ‘Sax’ but equally as infectious and hit-worthy. “If I get too drunk, would you take me home? Or would you leave me in this club on my own?” Fleur sings on the opening of the track backed by a bubbling 80’s production which pops on the chorus exploding into a disco/funk-flavoured feel-good anthem.
‘Love, Sax and Flashbacks’ is the debut studio album by English recording artist Fleur East. It is set to be released on 4th December 2015, through Syco Music. Listen to ‘Breakfast’ below:
