Fifth Harmony – Write On Me [New Track]
With Fifth Harmony’s sophomore album ‘7/27’ set to drop on 27th May, the girls premiere their second promotional single ‘Write On Me’ alongside the preorder of the album.
“Write on me / Give me some wings, I’ll fly / Love the way you tat me up / I’ll never change my mind” the girls of Fifth Harmony harmonise on the uplifting anthem. The breezy mid-tempo ballad kicks off on the back of some airy acoustic guitar strings before flourishing on the chorus, tapping into tropical house territory with synths that could’ve easily been plucked from a Kygo hit. “People will get a deeper insight into who we are,” Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke spoke of the group’s forthcoming album ‘7/27’ in an interview with EW back in March. “We talk about topics from love to heartbreak to confusion about someone. The main thing for all of us was having a ballad, a slower song. Finally, they get to hear more of a vulnerable side to us! We didn’t really have that in Reflection, and that’s something we all fought for.”
