Drake – Pop Style / One Dance [Single Premieres]

Drake unleashes two brand new singles ahead of the release of his upcoming album ‘Views From The 6’, ‘Pop Style’ and ‘One Dance’ the former featuring Jay-Z and Kanye West.

The first of the two eclectic offerings from Drake is ‘Pop Style’, the collaboration of three rap titans, featuring Jay-Z and Kanye West under their moniker The Throne. The almighty alliance is supported by an almighty production team of Sevn Thomas, Frank Dukes, Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib who helm the gloomy and cavernous trap-infused beat, a canvas for the trio to boast about being “dumb rich” and spending ten million on a crib. In true Drake style, the Toronto rapper offsets the grit and edge of the former single with a breezy, mellow dance track aptly titled ‘One Dance’ to appease his pop fans. The short-but-sweet jam features Nigerian rapper Wizkid and Filipino R&B singer Kyla whilst Nineteen85 crafts the minimalistic, piano-led bop of a beat and samples the Crazy Cousinz remix of Kyla’s ‘Do You Mind’.
