Drake used the latest installment of his OVO Sound radio show to premiere the brand new single ‘Summer Sixteen’ and announced the month ‘Views From the 6’ will drop.

After a career-defining 2015 with two commercially successful mixtapes, ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ and joint venture with Future ‘What a Time to Be Alive’, plus the smash hit ‘Hotling Bling’, October’s Very Own Drake is ready to takeover 2016 as well with his highly anticipated upcoming album ‘Views From the 6’.

The Canadian rapper took over the airwaves on Saturday’s episode of OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1 to premiere his brand new single called ‘Summer Sixteen’ produced by Noah “40” Shebib, Boi-1da, and CuBeatz. The knocking production switches up on the second half of the hip-hop banger, on a bed of ominous keys Drake takes some playful jabs at two of his favorite rappers, Jay Z and Kanye West, “I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay / Now I got a house in LA / Now I got a bigger pool than Ye / and look man, Ye’s pool is nice / Mine’s just big is what I’m saying”.

During the episode, Drake also announced that his new album ‘Views From the 6’ will be released in April. Listen to ‘Summer Sixteen’ below:
