Demi Lovato Iggy Azalea Kingdom Come

Demi Lovato’s fifth studio album “Confident” is finally out for the world to listen to and here’s the Iggy Azalea collaboration “Kingdom Come”.

Although its hard to knock the similarities to “Dark Horse” and Iggy’s own “Black Widow” with the instrumental post-chorus breakdown template, “Kingdom Come” definitely comes into its own. Demi’s powerful pipes sets the track apart from the rest on the epic electro dance-pop track with a dreamy but valiant delivery especially in the way she commands the listener to “sit me on your throne!” and the song is begging to be a future single.

Iggy Azalea has always polarised audiences on her authenticity but the guest verse she provides actually compliments the track nicely and her flow is on point against the brash beat. The Steve Mac production, albeit familiar, is another highlight with glistening synths, rattling 808 percussion and an epic trap-influenced chorus build up paired against Demi’s soaring vocals.
