After releasing her second solo album, “BlackHeart”, earlier this year, the former Danity Kane member reunites with producers Noisecastle III and Swagg R’Celious, and enlists Ester Dean’s writing skills for her brand new single. This woman churns out new music like no other, dedication to the fans!
D∆WN expressed previously the transition from dark to light the Heart trilogy encompasses and “RedemptionHeart” is all about feeling good. “Dance” adopts this notion and is a vigorous dose of electronic-house/pop with the eccentric star retaining her credibility whilst crafting a more commercially leaning track than her previous efforts and is sure to set dance floors alight.
“I wanted to create a vibrant atmosphere,” D∆WN told The FADER, “The Red Era is about moving on, redeeming yourself, and finding redemption. It’s time for people to start feeling good and start embracing who they are while dancing in their own light. That time is now…Let’s DANCE!”
“RedemptionHeart” is due in early 2016 and closes out the Heart trilogy. “This last era will be more mainstream than I’ve been in a while,” D∆WN told Rap-Up. “It’s vibrant and it’s fun. I’ve been dark for a while, so I’m in a really happy place and I can’t wait for the next chapter.” Listen below:
